MIAMI (Feb. 10, 2020) – To conclude FIU baseball's preseason and PantherFest 2020, the current Panthers topped the Alumni squad over the weekend.

FIU hosted its annual PantherFest on Saturday, Feb. 8 as the squad welcomed fans to the ballpark prior to this Friday's season opener. FIU opens the season on Friday, Feb. 14 at home as the Panthers host Fordham. First pitch between the Panthers and Rams is slated for 7:00 p.m.

The Panthers topped the Alumni squad on Saturday night, who was headlined by former, current and future Major League Baseball players that included recent draftees Javier Valdes, Nick MacDonald and Lorenzo Hampton, Jr.  
 
Season tickets for the 2020 season can be purchased by clicking here. The Panthers return a veteran core of talented players in 2020, supplemented with another highly-touted recruiting class. FIU will seek a return to postseason action for the first time since 2015 once the baseball season rolls around in February.
