MIAMI (Feb. 17, 2020) – Led by newly crowned Conference USA Hitter of the Week Jose Garcia, the FIU baseball team will go on the road for the first time in 2020 as the Panthers travel to take on the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats.
 
First pitch for Tuesday's game is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the historic Jackie Robinson Ballpark.  
 
The Panthers are coming off a historic weekend of their own as FIU scored 46 runs in the three-game Opening Weekend sweep of Fordham. The series sweep for FIU was its first to start a year since the four-game sweep over Rutgers to begin 2014. The 46 runs scored were also the most in a three-game series for FIU since 2013.
