Chris Steiner-Wilcoxson and the FIU softball team announced the 2021 schedule on Thursday.

It is important to note that all games are subject to change and additional contests may be added in the coming weeks.
The Panthers will open the 2021 season at home, as FIU hosts the Felsberg Invitational on Feb. 12-14. FAU and Winthrop will visit Miami for the home tournament, with the Panthers and Owls meeting on Friday, Feb. 12, at 3:00 p.m. ET for FIU's season opener. The Panthers will take on Winthrop twice to close out the opening weekend, playing on Friday, Feb. 12, at 6:00 p.m. ET and Sunday, Feb. 14, at 10:30 a.m. ET.
Following the Felsberg Invitational, the Panthers hit the road for over a month, first starting out in Fort Myers and Clermont to close out February. FIU will face UConn, FGCU, Northern Illinois, Kentucky, New Mexico State and Stetson over the road stretch. FIU visits Boca Raton for the FAU Invitational on March 5-6, facing Illinois State, Pittsburgh and Coastal Carolina, before traveling the next week to UCF on Thursday, March 11.
After a second stop in Clermont for the Spring Games on March 12-14, the Panthers finally return home to face FAU on Sunday, March 21, at 3:00 p.m. ET. The brief stop in Miami is short-lived however, as the Panthers travel to FAU on April 1-2 for a three-game series before traveling to Charlotte for a four-game set on April 16-18.
The Thundering Herd kicks off FIU's longest homestand of the season, as the Panthers face Marshall on April 23-25 and WKU on April 30-May 2. Following the eight-game home swing, the Panthers travel to Middle Tennessee to close out the regular season on April 7-9. The C-USA Tournament will be hosted by WKU in Bowling Green, Kentucky on May 12-15.
