MIAMI (March 10, 2021) - The FIU softball team travels to UCF on Thursday, March 11, as the Panthers and Knights battle in a mid-afternoon showdown. 

First pitch for Thursday's game is set for 3:30 p.m. at the UCF Softball Complex. 

LAST TIME OUT
FIU dropped its last series, continuing its long road swing as the Panthers closed out their 12th-straight game away from Felsberg Field. Jessica Rivera smashed her first homer of the season last time out, but the FIU softball team dropped three games at the FAU Invitational. 

SCOUTING THE FOE
UCF enters the game with a 13-3 record overall, having downed No. 2 Arizona this past Monday at home. The Knights are led by Georgia Blair at the plate, who owns a team-high .477 average and 19 RBI. She has also belted a team-best six homers so far this season. In the circle, Gianna Mancha has earned a 5-1 record and 1.15 ERA. 

UP NEXT
After the road contest at UCF on Thursday, March 11, the Panthers finally return home on March 13-14 as FIU hosts South Dakota for a three-game series.
