MIAMI (April 15, 2021) - The FIU softball team travels to Charlotte for a four-game series on April 16-18, as the Panthers return to action after a two-week break.
Friday's first pitch is set for 5 p.m., while Saturday's doubleheader begins at 1 p.m., before concluding the series on Sunday at Noon.

FIU NOTES
Last time out, the Panthers took two out of three from the FAU Owls on the road.
Jessica Rivera hit two homers against the Owls, with her five long balls all coming in the last 11 games. In the circle,
Brooklynn Linneman pitched two complete games for a pair of wins in the circle as she allowed just three runs on the weekend.
SCOUTING THE FOE
Charlotte enters the weekend with a 22-9 record, having earned a 16-5 mark at home this season. The 49ers have won six of their last seven contests, including a series win over FAU and a midweek victory at North Carolina. Bailey Vannoy leads the team at the plate, hitting .404 for the year and a team-best 40 hits, 15 doubles and nine homers. Lindsey Walljasper has pitched a team-high 110.1 innings this season, with a 2.73 ERA and 10-5 record overall.
UP NEXT
FIU will finally return to Felsberg Field on April 23-25 as the Panthers host Marshall for a weekend series. FIU concludes the home slate the following weekend against WKU on April 30-May 2.
