MINNEAPOLIS, Minn (January 29, 2022) -
Kaylen Clark and
Arielle Ho posted first place marks in the 200 and high jump, respectively, to highlight the final day of FIU's competition at the Jack Johnson Invitational and USC Invite.
Clark ran 25.97 in the 200 to earn the victory, while Ho's jump of 1.68m won the event. The Panthers also took first place in the 4x400, with the tandem of
Kaylen Clark,
Johanna Kleiner,
Kristin Lubeskie, and Atene Slizeviciute running 3:58.83 for the victory.
Alyiah Eugene took second place in the long jump with a mark of 5.45m.
In South Carolina,
Daira Deicmane ran 2:13 to earn the runner-up spot in the 800.
"This was a great weekend for us and I'm pleased with the strides that are being made across the board," said head coach
Ryan Heberling. "Now we focus on the South Alabama Invite next week as we start getting closer to C-USA Indoor."
The Panthers will compete in the USA Invite in Birmingham on February 6.
