MIAMI (October 18, 2022) - FIU sophomore Andrea Loizidou earned C-USA Athlete of the Week honors after a noteworthy performance at the Alabama Crimson Classic. 

Loizidou earned an 18th place finish in Tuscaloosa, besting each runner from the defending conference champions MTSU, as well as a talented field that included power five programs from around the region. 

Loizidou ran a 21:08 to guide FIU to a 13th place finish in a competitive field. It was just her second meet of this cross country season. 

FIU now prepares for the Conference USA Championships, to be held October 29, hosted by UNT.
