2023 FIU BASEBALL SCHEDULE

MIAMI (Dec. 12, 2022) – The FIU baseball team will play a total of 34 home games during head coach Rich Witten's inaugural season at the helm as part of the 2023 schedule, which was released on Monday.

The Panthers will play a total of 55 games in 2023, beginning on Friday, Feb. 17 vs George Mason at FIU Baseball Stadium.
 
The non-conference schedule features 25 contests against eight different opponents including Missouri, Harvard and crosstown rival Miami.
 
The FIU-Miami rivalry will play out four times in 2023 with both teams hosting two games. The Panthers are set to host the Hurricanes on Wednesday, March 15 and Tuesday, May 16, while FIU will travel to meet the Hurricanes in Coral Gables on March 28 and May 10.
 
The Panthers' Conference USA slate opens on Friday, March 17 with a trip to Texas to take on C-USA's newest member Dallas Baptist.
 
The league schedule will feature a total of 30 games - with Alabama-Birmingham, Florida Atlantic, UTSA, Western Kentucky and Charlotte all making the trip to Miami.
 
The 2023 C-USA Championship is set to be hosted by Rice University in Houston, Texas, on May 24 through May 28.
