MIAMI – The FIU softball will host No. 2 Florida State in a doubleheader on Saturday, March 26 beginning at 1 p.m. ET at the FIU Softball Stadium.
The game will mark the Panthers' final non-conference clash of the regular season and will also represent the highest ranked opponent that FIU has faced in 2022.
Each of the first 100 students in attendance will receive a free Panther Power Rally Towel courtesy of SGA,
The Panthers will be looking to snap a three-game skid when they take on the No. 2 Seminoles this weekend, who enter Saturday's action winners of two straight and eight of their last 10 overall.
Florida State is 28-2 overall, with its most recent loss coming on Sunday, March 20 by a 2-0 margin vs. Boston College.
Saturday's twinbill will mark the first meeting between the programs since 2016.
The Panthers are 15-15 overall and 11-10 at home in 2022. Senior
Brittany Phillips has paced FIU at the plate with a team-leading .296 batting average.

Kayla Whitehead has tabbed a .289 average with a team-best 26 hits, including eight extra-base knocks.

Kendahl Dunford has tossed eight complete games over 14 starts this season. She has compiled a 3.18 earned run average and struck out 70.

UP NEXT: The Panthers (15-15, 1-5) will follow Saturday's doubleheader with a weekend conference series at Western Kentucky. The three-game set will begin on Friday, April 1 at 7 p.m. ET.
