MIAMI (Apr. 6, 2023) – Baseball is back at home for a three-game C-USA series against cross-town rivals Florida Atlantic. Game one is on Thursday April 6 with first pitch set for 6:30 p.m.

Mike Rosario is FIU's hottest bat. He is leading the team in average at .361. hits with 44, home runs with seven and steals with 16.

Ryne Guida has been one of the Panthers most consistent hitters. He is second on the team in average at .345, second in hits with 40 and leads the program in RBI with 32.
Alec Sanchez now sits at third in average at .337. He is currently on a five-game hitting streak going 8-17 with nine RBI and two home runs.
Junior
Dante Girardi is hitting .301. He is the second on the team in walks with 17 and holds the longest hit streak this season at 13 games.

In 2023 FIU has pushed home 205 runs across 30 games.
They have scored at least five runs in 23 games and reached double digits eight times.
FIU has not been shutout in 2023.
SCOUTING THE OWLS
FAU is 19-11 this season and is coming off an upset victory over No. 15 Florida Gulf Coast.
Junior Nolan Schanuel is one of the nation's top hitters. He is hitting .455 and leads the team in hits, home runs, RBI, walks and steals with 45, 11, 35, 32 and nine, respectively.
Redshirt junior Jacob Josey has been a top arm for the Owls in 2023. In his 37.1 innings he is 3-2 with a team-bests in ERA at 3.38 and strike outs with 38.
