MIAMI – FIU women's soccer celebrates two Panthers who have been named to the 2025 CSC Academic All-District Team in senior Hanako Fujii and graduate student Grace Morris.
Fujii wrapped up her fourth and final season with the Panthers in 2025. The defender appeared in all 17 matches and earned 14 starts. She logged 65 or more minutes in 12 contests and recorded three shots on goal throughout the season. In the classroom, Fujii maintains a 3.59 GPA while pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies. This marks her first career selection to the CSC Academic All-District Team.
Morris is the second Panther recognized, also earning her first CSC Academic All-District honor. The graduate defender anchored FIU's back line all season, starting and playing all 17 matches at center back. She logged 90 or more minutes in every game, including 97 minutes in FIU's first-round matchup at the CUSA Women's Soccer Championship. With Morris leading the defense, FIU recorded four shutouts in 2025. A native of Wales, she was also named to the 2025 CUSA Second Team All-Conference, her first CUSA postseason honor. Academically, Morris entered FIU with a 3.64 GPA from her previous institution and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Mass Communication, specializing in Global Strategic Communications.
