BOCA RATON, Fla. (April 9, 2014) – The FIU women's tennis team (11-6) closed out the 2014 regular season with a 4-0 win over the Florida Atlantic Owls (10-10) on Wednesday afternoon.

Giulietta Boha defeated Kandis Legall and Natalia Tomaszewicz, 8-4, and the tandem of sophomore
Aleksandra Trifunovic and freshman
Nina Nagode defeated Catalina Ene and Lyndsey Boos, 8-5.
The Panthers won three-straight singles matches to claim the 4-0 win. Orlando defeated Legall, 6-2, 6-2, Boha defeated Tomaszewicz, 6-2, 6-0, and Trifunovic clinched the match with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Boos.
FIU will next travel to Norfolk, Va., for the 2014 Conference USA Tennis Championships, beginning April 16.
