Win and You're In
The Panthers and 49ers find themselves battling for one of the final spots in the Conference USA Championship, which begins on May 7. A series sweep of Charlotte would grant FIU a berth into the tournament.

What a Win!
Corinne Jenkins moved into a tie for third place in FIU history with 47 wins on April 19, as the Panther ace put her team on her back for a four-hit victory over C-USA leader WKU. It also ties her career, single-season-high for wins at 17. Heading into the final week of the season, the junior righty is tied for the third-most wins in C-USA.

RB1(0)
Stephanie Texeira became the second active Panther to earn a spot on the FIU all-time RBI list, as her RBI-single on April 11 gives her 85 runs for her career. She joins junior catcher Aleima Lopez, who's currently No. 6 all-time with 90 RBI.

D-Fence
Head Coach Gator Rebhan made it a point of emphasis in the off season to build a fast team. That has translated to the defensive side of the game, as the Panthers lead Conference USA in double plays turned with 23. Sophomore transfer Ashley Leon has been involved in 13 of those transactions.

Double Down
Gabby Spallone is tied for the Conference USA lead in doubles with 15, while Stephanie Texeira (11) and Ashley Belans(11) are each part of the league's top 10, as well.
