BOCA RATON -- Florida Atlantic got a pair of home runs midway through Sunday's series finale to help propel the Owls to a 10-1 win over FIU at FAU Baseball Stadium.
Jared Shouppe hit a three-run home run off
Alex Demchak in the bottom of the fourth inning and Eric Rivera hit a two-run shot in the fifth for the Owls.
The Owls (29-13-1, 15-6 Conference USA) won the series from the Panthers (26-20, 10-11).
Demchak (3-1) went five innings, allowed four hits, five earned runs, walked two and struck out none.
FIU scored its run in the fourth.
Kenny Meimerstorf, who singled earlier in the inning, came home after
Nick Day was hit by a pitch by FAU starter Jake Miednik (5-4) with the bases loaded.
