MIAMI (April 18, 2019) - The FIU softball team will hit the road and head to Charlotte, North Carolina this weekend, as the Panthers face Conference USA foe Charlotte in a three-game series.
FIU and Charlotte will play a doubleheader on Friday, with first pitch set for 3 p.m. ET. Saturday's first pitch is set for 1 p.m. ET.

LAST TIME OUT
The FIU softball team won its first C-USA series at home as the Panthers took two-of-three from the Marshall Thundering Herd. FIU picked up a pair of wins on Saturday with a 9-1 run-rule victory and then a 5-1 win to cap the day thanks to a walk-off grand slam by
Jessica Rivera. The Panthers dropped Sunday's contest 7-1 to close out the series against Marshall.
IN THE CIRCLE
Sophomore
Allison Muraskin leads the Panthers in the circle, after earning a 7-11 record thus far. The sophomore has pitched 105.2 innings total and owns a team-low 3.58 ERA.
AT THE PLATE
Jackie Schoff leads the Panthers at the plate, with the senior averaging .331 with 23 runs, 42 hits and 11 RBIs. Schoff has also collected three doubles, three triples and 10 walks.
Natalie Orcutt leads the team in RBIs after batting in 27 on the year followed by
Jessica Rivera who owns 25 RBIs.
UP NEXT
The Panthers will stay on the road as FIU makes the trip to Orlando, Florida to face UCF for a non-conference contest on April 24. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. ET.
