MIAMI (April 23, 2019) - The FIU softball team will stay on the road and head to Orlando, Florida for a midweek clash against the UCF Knights. FIU and UCF will play a non-conference game on Wednesday, April 24 with first pitch set for 4 p.m. ET.

LAST TIME OUT
The FIU softball team dropped its series against Charlotte on the road as the Panthers fell in the first game 7-2, before falling 9-1 in six innings against Charlotte to close out the day. 

IN THE CIRCLE
Sophomore Allison Muraskin leads the Panthers in the circle, after earning a 7-12 record thus far. The sophomore has pitched 107.2 innings total and owns a team-low 3.51 ERA.

AT THE PLATE
Jackie Schoff leads the Panthers at the plate, with the senior averaging .331 with 23 runs, 44 hits and 11 RBIs. Schoff has also collected three doubles, three triples and 11 walks. Natalie Orcutt leads the team in RBIs after batting in 27 on the year followed by Jessica Rivera who owns 25 RBIs.

UP NEXT
The Panthers will welcome Southern Miss for the final C-USA home series of the season on April 27-28. FIU will play two on Saturday with first pitch set for 4 p.m. ET. Sunday's series capper is set for 12:00 p.m. ET, which will serve as Senior Day for FIU.
