MIAMI (April 5, 2019) - The FIU softball team will head out on a short road trip to Boca Raton this weekend, as the Panthers face Florida Atlantic in a three-game series. 

FIU and FAU will play a doubleheader on Saturday, with first pitch set for 4 p.m. ET. Sunday's first pitch is set for 1 p.m. ET.

LAST TIME OUT
The Panthers dropped three to North Texas at home, as FIU suffered a sweep at the hands of the Mean Green.

IN THE CIRCLE
Senior Megan Kugelmann leads the Panthers in the circle, after earning a 6-4 record thus far. The senior has pitched 83.2 innings and owns a team-low 3.12 ERA.

AT THE PLATE
Jackie Schoff leads the Panthers at the plate, with the senior averaging .327 with 19 runs, 37 hits (tied for fifth in C-USA) and 10 RBIs. Schoff has collected three doubles, three triples and seven walks. Natalie Orcutt leads the team in RBIs after batting in 20 on the year followed by Jessica Rivera who owns 19 RBIs.

UP NEXT
The Panthers will be back home to host Florida Gulf Coast for a non-conference doubleheader on April 10. First pitch is set for 4 p.m.
