MIAMI (May 3, 2019) - The FIU softball team will hit the road and head to El Paso, Texas this weekend, as the Panthers face Conference USA foe UTEP in a three-game series to close out the regular season.
FIU and UTEP will play a doubleheader on Saturday, with first pitch set for 3 p.m. ET and game two is set for approximately 5:30 p.m. ET. Sunday's series capper is set for 1 p.m. ET.

LAST TIME OUT
In FIU's final home series of the season, the Panthers took two out of three from the Golden Eagles as FIU split on day one and earned an 8-6 win on Sunday to pick up the series win. FIU is now 25-23 on the year and 6-14 in league action.
IN THE CIRCLE
Sophomore
Allison Muraskin leads the Panthers in the circle, after earning a 9-12 record thus far. The sophomore has pitched 124.2 innings total and owns a team-low 3.25 ERA.
AT THE PLATE
Jackie Schoff leads the Panthers at the plate, with the senior averaging .331 with 26 runs, 49 hits and 11 RBIs. Schoff has also collected three doubles, four triples and 12 walks.
Natalie Orcutt leads the team in RBIs after batting in 28 on the year followed by
Jessica Rivera who owns 26 RBIs.
UP NEXT
After this weekend's games, the Panthers will await their fate for the C-USA Championship which will take place May 8-11 in Birmingham, Alabama.
