MIAMI (Feb. 14, 2020) - The FIU women's basketball team will close its three-game homestand against Southern Miss on Saturday, Feb. 15 with tipoff set for 2 p.m. ET.

SOUTHERN MISS PREVIEW
The Lady Eagles are 12-11 overall and 4-8 in conference play. Southern Miss picked up a 71-67 victory over Florida Atlantic on Thursday evening.

INSIDE THE SERIES
FIU trails in the all-time series 3-8 against Southern Miss. The Panthers and Lady Eagles last faced on Jan. 31, 2019. FIU dropped at 71-57 contest in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

JISELLE ON THE COURT 
Thomas posted a triple-double on Saturday, Jan. 18 against Middle Tennessee after earning 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals. Thomas becomes just the fifth player in program history to record a triple-double and the first since 2002 for the Panthers. In addition, Thomas is the ninth player in C-USA history to achieve the feat. The Norwalk, Ohio native leads the team in points per game (10.8), free throws per game (2.4) and steals per game (1.3), while ranking second in assists per game (1.5) and rebounds per game (4.2). 

CHELSEA IN THE STATS
The Almada, Portugal native ranks 11th in C-USA for rebounds per game (7.3), while leading FIU in rebounds per game (7.3) and blocked shots per game (1.1), ranking second in points per game (9.8), free throws per game (2.8), and third in assists per game (1.3)
