MIAMI (March 7, 2021) - The FIU baseball team fell twice to Indiana State on Sunday, as the visiting Sycamores claimed the series from the Panthers.
Sunday's doubleheader officially closed out FIU's 10-game homestand as the Panthers now get ready for a seven-game road swing.
Steven Ondina collected five hits at the plate on Sunday, including his first career triple in the series finale.
Mario Zabala earned two hits and two RBI on the day, while also smashing his first career home run in Sunday's first game against the Sycamores.
UP NEXT
FIU will hit the road for the first time in 2021 next weekend, as the Panthers travel to Conway, South Carolina, to face Coastal Carolina on March 12-14.
