Golf Wraps Up Pat Bradley Invitational with Fourth Place Finish

MIAMI —  FIU's women's golf program closed out its 54-hole home event, the Pat Bradley Invitational, on Tuesday morning at Trump National Doral. 

The Panthers hosted their home invite for the first time at the world-renowned Trump National Doral golf course, playing on the Silver Fox course, par-71. FIU finished in fourth place out of 14 participating teams with a total score of 225 (+12). The Panthers moved up one spot in the final 18 holes with an overall +3 score. 

For FIU, Karissa Kilby (t-15th) and Hoi Ki Lau (t-18th) both placed in the top-20. Lau shot 69 (-2) on Tuesday morning, firing three birdies in the round. Sophie Bohlhoff and Amandine Seguin finished tied-22nd with an overall score of +6. 

Salysa Mason shot even in the opening round and finished in 40th place with a final score of +11. Individual competitors Gabriella Gomez and Catalina Harvey finished 44th and 55th, respectively. 

UP NEXT

The Panthers play next at the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational, hosted by UNC in Raleigh N.C. on Oct. 11-13.
