MIAMI – With a program record 12 wins in CUSA-play, women's basketball (19-10, 12-6 CUSA) will head into the Conference USA Basketball Championships as the two-seed. The placement sees the Panthers with their highest seeding to start the tournament since joining Conference USA in the 2013-14 season.
The Tournament will be played in Huntsville, Alabama at the Propst Arena for the third consecutive season.
FIU will get a bye into the quarterfinals, and will play the winner of the seven and ten-seed play-in game on Wednesday, March 11 at 2 p.m. CT/3p.m. ET on ESPN+.
The Panthers will be looking for their first win in the Conference USA Basketball Championships since the 2021-22 season when they beat Florida Atlantic in the first round.
