Scouting the Beavers/ Series history
Still searching for its first win of 2014, Oregon State comes to Miami 0-4-2, although none of the squad's losses have been by more than two goals. Despite that, the Beavers have had struggles finding the back of the net this season. Sabrina Santarossa and Kayla Latham have the two lone goals for Oregon State through six matches. In a tough Pac-12 conference, the Beavers are alone in last place. The Panthers dropped the sole match of the series, 7-0, back in 2011.

Up next
Following tomorrow's match with the Beavers, the Panthers will turn their attention to a 5 p.m. meeting with the Stetson Hatters on Friday, Sept. 19. What will serve as Parents' Weekend for the FIU women's soccer team will conclude with a Sunday matinee against No. 23 Long Beach State at 1 p.m.

Shim a Senior Class Candidate
Senior Ashleigh Shim has been named one of 30 Senior CLASS Award candidates. To be eligible, a student-athlete must be a classified NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence – community, classroom, character and competition.

Itching to Join

                1.            Michele O'Brien (1998-2001)          58
                2.            Catherine Liller (1990-93)               50
                3.            Cindy Greenman (1992-96)            44

                5.            Delia DeSilva (1991-94)                  28

Where that Stands in C-USA
Leiva's 71 career points and 27 career goals ranks as the highest among current Conference USA member school's players.
