MIAMI (March. 5, 2021) – The FIU baseball team fell to visiting Indiana State on Friday night by a score of 13-2.
Both Panther runs came in the home half of the fourth when
Juan Teixeira led off the inning with a walk. The Panther left fielder scored on a
Justin Farmer triple to right two batters later, while an
Adrian Figueroa RBI single scored Farmer for the second run of the inning.
Alec Sanchez added a base knock as well, before the side was retired to cap the inning.
UP NEXT
FIU will look to bounce back on Saturday, as the Panthers host the Sycamores at 6 p.m.
